3D Box Cake! If It Weren’t Paper I’d Eat It!

Close To My Heart’s Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge has been so fun to create with.  Here is a cake I made out of pillow boxes…

Yes, I said pillow boxes…They aren’t folded and sealed the traditional way, however, three cut boxes are connected and turned into a hexagon.  Add some opaque pearls and paper flowers and you got yourself a beautiful paper cake……

Journal Spots..For More Than Just Journaling

I just love using these great journal spots that accompany the Elemental paper from Close To My Heart.  I added them to many of my scrapbook pages.  As you can see from the picture above, they can be used for more than that.  Here I added one to the front of one of my handmade cards.

Add a metal frame from our Mini Medley Pewter collection and a sentiment and you are all set.

Box 'O Comfort

I am such a lucky girl. I get to have 2 jobs that I love, teaching preschool and teaching the art of scrapbooking, card making, and stamping. So when I get to combine the two, I'm thrilled. I love to spoil my little munchkins throughout the school year-they deserve it! They work super hard at growing and learning. This year I vow to take good care of my mommies and daddies too. So I am starting the school year off by giving these little boxes of comfort

Each box is made using Elemental paper and includes an herbal tea bag, tissue, cotton ball, and this note
